NFL Odds: Jets vs. Patriots
New York Jets at New England Patriots this Sunday.
There are no losing teams in the AFC East heading into Week 11; the New England Patriots (5-4 SU, 5-3-1 ATS) may be in the division basement, but they’re only two games out of first place – and one game behind the New York Jets (6-3 SU and ATS) for second. The Patriots can bridge that gap this Sunday in Foxborough starting at 1 PM ET on CBS.
New England opened as 5-point home favorites for this rivalry matchup, but moved down to –3 in early action, with the total dipping from 40 points to 38.5. This will be their second of two meetings this year, the Jets having dropped their first encounter 22-17 in Week 8 as 3-point home dogs (Under 40). That’s 13 straight wins for the Patriots over New York at 9-4 ATS.
Sunday’s rematch should be a chilly affair by comparison, with temperatures in the mid-30s and crosswinds of 10-15 mph at Gillette Stadium. The skies should be clear, however, and both teams are coming off a bye in Week 10. The Over is 4-3-1 in this series during November games dating back to when Bill Belichick took over as head coach of the Patriots in 2000.
